The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Cuba, located in Havana, is one of the most prestigious institutions dedicated to Fine Arts in Latin America. The museum comprises two iconic buildings: the Palace of Fine Arts, which houses an extensive collection of Cuban art, and the Asturian Center, home to the Universal Art Collection. The Universal Art Collection features international works spanning from 500 B.C. to the present day, including an exceptional Spanish art collection and one of the largest assemblages of paintings and sculptures in the region.

The museum serves as a cultural hub, preserving and showcasing the rich artistic heritage of Cuba and the world. Its diverse collections and exhibitions offer visitors a unique opportunity to explore the evolution of art across centuries and continents.

During a special event at the museum, renowned artist Grimanesa Amorós delivered an engaging artist talk, offering audiences a glimpse into her creative process and the inspiration behind her large-scale light installations.
