ARTIST STATEMENT
ART TO WEAR: Exhibition at the Spruill Center For The Arts in Atlanta as part of THE BODY ECLECTIC in 1997, organized by director Joan Burge Wallick. Artists have created vests to be sold under the unwieldy title "In-VESTments: Artist-Made Vests." Most can be worn and run from the sophisticated to the outrageous. "Clothing beyond it's function often serves as a way of expressing one's own personality said Wallick."
